ASC 25 Volunteer Consent Waiver

You may be assigned to one or more of the following areas:
● Basketball Activities Lead or assist with drills and games, supervise campers, and ensure safety and engagement on the court.
● Registration Team Manage participant check-in/check-out, distribute materials (e.g., T-shirts), and assist with parent/guardian inquiries.
● Provisions Team Assist with safe storage, serving, and cleanup of meals/snacks. Wear gloves when handling food or beverages.
● General Volunteers Support with hall monitoring, setup/breakdown, placing signs, monitoring bathrooms, opening doors, assisting with group transitions, and other tasks as needed.

As a volunteer, you agree to:
● Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
● Supervise and support campers in a safe, respectful, and encouraging manner
● Handle camper/parent inquiries with professionalism and care
● Follow directions from camp leadership and assist where needed
● Be flexible and available to help with any assigned duties
● Assist with cleanup and resetting the facility at the end of each day

All volunteers are expected to:
● Maintain professionalism and respect toward all campers, staff, and families
● Use only positive, age-appropriate language and interactions
● Model inclusive, responsible, and encouraging behavior
● Support and reflect the mission and values of the camp

The following are strictly prohibited:
● Bringing or using illegal drugs, cannabis, alcohol, or firearms
● Being under the influence of any substances while volunteering
● Smoking or vaping near campers, families, or guests
● Using abusive, intimidating, or inappropriate language or behavior
● Being alone with a camper at any time

Volunteers agree to protect the privacy of all personal, medical, and sensitive information shared or observed during camp. Confidentiality must be maintained even after volunteer service has ended.

● Volunteers should never be alone with a camper. Always remain in visible proximity to another adult when supervising youth.
● Volunteers must report any safety concerns, misconduct, or unusual behavior to camp leadership immediately.

● I understand that I am serving as a volunteer, not an employee, of Andre Drummond’s All-Stars Basketball Camp.
● I understand that I am not entitled to compensation, wages, insurance, or benefits.
● I understand that this agreement may be terminated by either party at any time with at least one (1) day’s notice, or immediately in cases of misconduct or breach of conduct.

By signing this agreement, I agree to release and hold harmless Andre Drummond, the All-Stars Basketball Camp, its staff, leadership, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, injuries, or damages that may arise as a result of my volunteer participation.

This agreement reflects the full understanding between the volunteer and Andre Drummond’s All-Stars Basketball Camp and supersedes any previous verbal or informal commitments.
